First day of summer here in Sydney, not that you can tell by the weather! I thought today would be the perfect day to flash you with a sneak peek of my new bikini for summer. This was the Sunday treat that Cameron spoiled me with from SEAFOLLY. What do you think? What swimwear style are you going for this summer?
I have a really busy day in front of me today! First I have a million little things to do on my project, btw we are travelling really well with it so expect to here more about this shortly. Later this morning I´m off to the gym to curl some steel, I love, love, love the program Cameron designed for me. GENIUS IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY!
Sorry to brag about my boyfriend but when you are on a program that is really physically and mentally hard but you still love it, you know it´s a good program!
By tonight I´m expecting to work on the final touches on the project, Soooo Exciting!
Have a great day guys,
After an awesome morning workout with Alexis I´m starving….
CHICKEN BREAST, MUSHROOMS, ZUCCHINI, EGGPLANT & CAPSICUM, STIR-FRIED IN OLIVE OIL, A LITTLE BIT OF ORGANIC BUTTER & FRESH GARLIC. SERVED ON A BED OF BABY SPINACH, ENJOY!
Starting position for weighted crunches on a Bosu ball with a rope.
Again we know that Heavy Squats, Heavy Deadlifts and Chin Ups is the most effective way to get shredded abs, however here is an another ab exercise that I do every now and then.
Use your abs to pull the weight as you are crunching, do not use your arms to pull the weight up, let your abs do the work. Think quality rather than quantity here, I do as heavy as I can for a maximum of 15 reps. Do 4-5 sets and 12-15 reps for each set. When it comes to what weight to start on, you have to test what feels heavy.
Ps. For this exercise you attach the rope at the bottom of the machine and place the Bosu ball approximately 1 meter from the machine. Again you need to test it, and feel whether you are connecting with your abs as you are performing the exercise.
DINNER FAVOURITE 3 on the list is Sushi and I probably have it at least once a week. Sushi can be tricky as it has that HEALTH STAMP over it. It is so easy to trick yourself into believing that all Sushi is clean & lean as the Japanese cuisine has that healthy hype factor over it.
We need to be realistic here and recognise that there is a “trade-off” and a price you have to pay if you want to get lean. If you are choosing the Sushi rolls with more white rice than fish and vegetables, fried prawns or chicken than it is not going to be a clean & lean meal. But if you make conscious decision to eat as clean as possible even when you´re dining out achieving your health, fitness and wellbeing goals is not going to be a problem.
I usually go for Sashimi and I have it with a BIG Seaweed salad. If you don´t like the Sashimi completely raw ask them to grill it. When it comes to eating clean & lean you have to be a bit annoying and ask for things that are necessarily not on the menu. It´s only going to be an issue if you make it one…
Eat as much Sushi as you want but be sensible and realistic about it!
EAT CLEAN & GET LEAN!
Hope you´re having a fantastic lazy Sunday? I have had the best day spending some quality time with my man.
My AMAZING boyfriend decided to spoil me with some treats from SEAFOLLY! You may find that these bikinis are bit pricy, but I seriously feel like a VICTORIA SECRET SWIMSUIT MODEL in this bikini. The bikini so cute and sexy at the same time. Sometimes you have to spend those extra few dollars to feel like a million bucks, the fit and quality of these bikinis is certainly something extra.
Wait until you see it, you will die!
My second Sunday treat is MINT COCONUT CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE BALL (gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free). I didn´t bake these myself I got them from Taste Organic in Crows Nest.
Have a great night!
